About the Campaign
Palestinians endure unimaginable oppression every day, facing human rights violations and oppression in their own homes. Forced displacements, unfair land occupations, and discriminatory practices perpetuate the cycle of injustice and suffering. Shockingly, many products we consume are connected to corporations complicit in these atrocities. Boycotting these products is a powerful way to express our refusal to support companies profiting from such exploitation. Ethically sourced food products, free from connections to apartheid, offer us an opportunity to take a stand. However, we believe the responsibility should not solely fall on the shoulders of consumers. It's important for the establishments we frequent to fulfill their duty of ethical sourcing so we don't need to double check every product we purchase.

Our Method
Making a community apartheid-free is as simple as visiting establishments and informing managers of our efforts! We bring materials such as pamphlets detailing our campaign with some examples of complicit corporations that ought to be boycotted, as well as succinct one-pagers explaining our campaign translated into different languages such as Arabic and Spanish. We educate establishment owners about the apartheid in Palestine, how products they sell might be contributing to it, and introduce them to ethically sourced alternatives! We make sure to leave some contact information in case they're interested in getting more details. Usually, it's as easy as that! Once they pledge to become apartheid-free, we provide them with a poster to proudly display on their storefront and add them to our map!
